Shennice's passion for equity and inclusion stems from her own entrepreneurial journey, which started in 2003 when she launched her first business after being laid off from Hewlett Packard. She has since founded and led several successful ventures, including a mobile bakery, a strategic business development firm, and a global non-profit. She has also served as a grassroots advocate, policy director, and Google digital coach, leveraging her skills in community relations, new business development, and new media. Shennice has been featured on multiple media outlets, such as NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, CNBC, WSJ, Politico, and PPA, and has received multiple honors and awards for her work.
